I couldn't believe the price. Even after reading the reviews, I didn't expect a sword of such quality. I expected something light and flimsy, something that would not feel like a sword in my hand. However, as I was buying it more as a symbol for some life choices I have made, I thought it would do. After all, a price I could actually afford! When I went seeking a sakabato like Kenshin's, I thought I would have to make do with putting it on my wishlist and looking at it longing for the rest of my life.

Then, it arrived. I unpacked the sheath first and thought it was the sword sent sheathed. I was disappointed but not too bad...then I found the blade. Feels like a sword in my hand. The blade catches the light and looks deadly and sharp. It is solid and real and I love it! A perfect symbol a woman who is a pacifist but still a warrior. Truly, I am as happy as a little pig (P-chan?)

Description of Reverse Blade Katana Black with Stand

This sword measures 41 inches in overall length, with a 27 inch blade made of 440 Stainless Steel, and an 11 1/2 inch black nylon cord wrapped handle. Includes free display stand! The tsuba (guard) is a simple black cast metal ring design. The saya (scabbard) is finished with a deep black lacquer and made of wood. The sageo (wrap around scabbard) is a solid black nylon cord. This is a reverse blade sword, meaning the edge of the blade is along what is traditionally the back side of the blade. The purpose of such a design is one in which one has sworn to no longer take a life but must still defend their own life.
