Sherman delivers another excellent indoor cycling workout with clear cues, attention to form and explanation of interval training. Because of the nature of the workout (speed intervals or strength intervals) it is not easy to keep your heart rate in the target zone. I did the warm up and speed section which lasts about 30 minutes. Approximately 12 of those minutes were within the target zone. The floor portion is conducted with clear directions and preparatory exercises. It mainly focuses on balance and core work, using an exercise ball, medicine ball, mat, and resistance bands. You can mix and match exercises to customize your workout because the segments are designed to be self-contained or done as a continuous workout experience. Two other cyclists join Sherman on the ride. They say nothing.

Robert has put together the ultimate spinning challenge. He has designed the DVD so that you get a Spinning-style Workout - (the ride consisting of many speed and resistance changes along with many form pointers for the ride of your life), a Complete Total Body Workout using tubing, weights, core stability moves and a medicine ball and finally a Interval Workout that combines both the bike and the resistance training all on one. His new ride will start on the bike--(15 min.), then you get options from here. More Spinning--(30 min.), Complete Total Body Training using tubing, weights, stability ball, medicine ball and balance/core exercises--(40 min.)
