I bought this stove for my husband who works out in the field all day. He does not have access to a microwave during the day to reheat leftovers. He would occasionally take a cold sandwich and warm soup in a thermos, but you can see how that would get old. So he would typically eat fast food or junk food from a convenience store every day for lunch. Not only is that very expensive, it's also very unhealthy.
So after reading the reviews, I decided to buy this stove for him for Christmas. He's been using the stove now for close to 2 months and it is just fantastic. I just cook more for dinner each night and he'll put some of the leftovers in a loaf pan, add a little bit of water to add moisture, cover it with aluminum foil, and it's ready to go for the next day. About 30 minutes before lunch, he plugs in the stove. When he opens the lid, steam comes pouring out and the food is piping hot.
This product has saved a ton of money since he rarely eats out for lunch now, and he's lost weight without even trying.
The RoadPro portable stove would get 10 stars from us if we got give that many.
