Description of RipStik "G" Caster Board (Silver)

RipStik G the extreme grind machine! Get your grind on with spinning aluminum G-tube. Inclined caster trucks and pivoting deck provide a snowboard-like carving ability. Unique design allows acceleration and turning without pushing. Now you can land those trick in style!
Best described as a cross between a skateboard and a snowboard, the Ripstik caster board is distinguished by its pivoting deck and 360-degree inclined caster trucks, which offers a snowboard-like carving ability. The RipStik "G" features a spinning aircraft-grade aluminum "G" tube in the center for extreme grinding action. Like the original Ripstik, the "G" moves you forward with a simple weight transfer that lets you turn or accelerate without pushing--just like when you're carving down the slopes.

The aircraft-grade aluminum tube in the center is ready for extreme grinding.
The board offers such features as spiked traction pads, a kick tail and nose, and a concave deck design, which combine to improve your foot control--a must for tricks. And thanks to the 76mm polyurethane wheels and precision ABEC-5 bearing casters, skaters will enjoy a smooth ride on almost any type of pavement. Designed for children 8 years and up, the Ripstik's plastic end platforms and metal torsion beam support up to 220 pounds.

Sports reviews of RipStik "G" Caster Board (Silver)

Customer Review: Fun for everyone
Sport shop rating: 5 Stars

My 10 yr old son loves this board. It is contageous as my 8 yr old daughter wants her own. We looked at the 2 brands Wave and Ripstick and it was a toss up. The improved features of the Ripstik G sold us. One note of caution this is not an easy board to master and takes time to learn. Best to wear protective gear when riding.

I brought this for my grandson 12 years old. He has crypolis and walks on his toes. he has concored the rip stik and it has help him. he has to keep his feet flat and it is strighting his leg muscles. He is improving alot. I was worried at first but to watch him balance and roll it is amazing. Thank You Sandra Hawkins

Customer Review: Great gear
Sport shop rating: 5 Stars

My son loves his RipStik. The G is replacing his original after a year because he has worn it out. He thinks this one looks really cool in Silver. I am not convinced that he is interested in grinding, but more options are always better. Learning to use the RipStik didn't take long and he hasn't grown tired of it.

Customer Review: smooth and easy
Sport shop rating: 5 Stars

the G is smoother and easier to ride than the normal Ripstick. Learning to Ripstick is easier than learning to skateboard or longboard for sure. I haven't made much use of the grind bar but I'm working on getting that good.

Customer Review: Great for Gifts
Sport shop rating: 5 Stars

I bought this as a Christmas gift for my brother, and he loves it. He has used it every day since he got it unless its rainy, and then he rides it in the house.
