My 10 years old learned to use these type of boards last december with a chinese wave, 4 months later he was an expert the next it broke. With this new Ripstik G he has resumed his learning and doing tricks. THIS IS THE REAL ONE!!!! - Don't waste your money in anything different, this product is designed for tricks and with a simple look at it you will see is a heavy duty product.
I highly recomend it - I will let you know within a year.

I bought this for my younger son as a B-day gift. He absolutely loves it. In fact, his elder brother follows him for a chance to play it (usually it is the other way around). The younger one is rough on any toy and the older one is over 5'10" and 165L. At first I was worried about the wheels based on some reviews. Now we have had it for over a month. The boys play it every single day. It shows some wear and tear on both edges and wheels, but nothing too bad. So in my opinion it is durable.Customer Review: Very Good board

Actually, I bought it for my young son 9 years.
He never experience about skate boarding. But within 1 day, he can do good.
Now he bring the board any time when we go for walking.
He loves it so much.
Good shape, reasonable speed (I like it is little bit slower than other regular board to my hurried son. :)), weight also good to hold.
When he will grow up, maybe he will change to Air type. But now G type is good for my son.

The product arrived on time (before Christmas) and this was the best price I found on this product. Good service. Your kid has to be old enough or big enough to handle this type of skate board. I also got the pads for elbows, knees, and helmet. Protect your precious kids by using the necessary equipment. If we train our kids to use safety when they are kids, they will use seat belts and not use cell phones when they get to drive cars.Customer Review: My daughter loves hers!

My daughter paid for this out of the money she had saved. She has learned to be very careful about what she spends her money on, but both of us think this has been well worth the price. She also shopped around a bit and figured out that buying it from Amazon was less expensive than it was on sale at the local discount chain. This is a wonderful product and a great place to get it!
