I bought this for my son as a present. I'd never heard of it before, but most of his friends have one. He loves it. The only problem with it is one of the wheels keeps coming loose, as the bolt that holds it in keeps coming loose. The first time it happened, a bunch of ball bearings fell out on the ground. Luckily, he found them all and we were able to put it together again. I put some Loc Tite on the bolt and is has been fine since.Customer Review: Ripstik review

We purchased the Ripstik, the smaller one, for my 9 yr old son and the larger one for my 12 yr old son. They both love it! It took a little practice (in the kitchen) to get used to it, then they ventured outside. We do require the kids to wear safety gear. Both my boys seem to prefer them over skateboards. The Ripstick Caster board so far has met our expectations. But, a good idea is to also buy some protective gear to go with it. Especially wrist guards. My 9 year old daughter had a close call when she fell. Otherwise she is loving it!Customer Review: Great deal!

Very good product keeps the kids on the move and requires some skills to ride. Concept to ride is a little tricky best if this board is seen and practiced on before purchase but it is FUN and ALL the kids love it.
