Spiked traction pads and kick tail and raised nose with concave design for tricks and improved footing. The board is distinguished by its pivoting deck and 360-degree inclined caster trucks, which offer a snowboard-like carving ability. MY SON ASKED FOR THIS GIFT FOR HIS BIRTHDAY. I WAS KIND OF CONCERNED WITH GETTING IT AND IT JUST SITTING AROUND. FORTUNATELY, HE HAS BEEN RIDING IT AND ENJOYING IT. AFTER REVIEWING THE WEB SITE AND READING ABOUT THE RIPSTICK, I THOUGHT IT WOULD ALSO BE A GOOD EXERCISE TOOL FOR HIM. IT SEEMS THAT IT WORKS GOOD ON THE COORDINATION AND WAISTLINE AREA. My 12 year-old daughter spends half her summer days on her Ripstick. Great fun (and good for core-muscle development to boot)! She pretty much "got it" on the first go, unlike her younger sister who is not as strong .. took sis longer. Comes with DVD, mostly safety tips and a few demos. My daughter was too impatient to watch, just put her helmet on and got on her board. No probs. Happy MomCustomer Review: grandson, was thrilled!!

I was delighted with the RipStik! Just seeing my grandsons face, when he opened the gift! The color was important to him(he loves the color green)and is enjoying and thanking us, for the one special gift, he really wanted, and got. The price was fare ,as the delivery was great. It was packed well and I am very happy with my first buy, on Amazon!

Bought the RipStik for my 7 year old daughter. Her 11 year old brother already had one and she wanted one so badly. They have spent hours on their RipStiks learning to balance and ride and can even go up a slight hill. This is a great toy for children to keep them active and help with their balance. I bought this for my 12 year old son, and he loves it! He learned how to use it very quickly and uses it a lot. Two of his friends also have them and they're out on the Ripstiks constantly! It seems very durable and well contructed. I'd like to try it myself, but I'm afraid I'll break something!!
