My 11 yr. old and 8 yr. old received Ripstiks for Christmas and they haven't stopped Ripstikin' since! In fact, my 14 year old "borrowed" their ripstiks so much, that he had to save up his money and buy one too. They are on them for hours.... in the garage, in the basement, on the street even on our hardwood floors through the dining room and kitchen (and we said they couldn't be on them upstairs, but they don't appear to make marks on the floor). They are amazingly fun. Now all the neighborhood kids are starting to get them. Neighbors stare at them as they ride by and say, "What's that?". I'd say it is one of the best things that they have gotten in recent times. Definitely worth the money.... we now have a blue, red and green one. We ordered our Ripstick at Amazon.com because we wanted to choose a color that wasn't found in stores. It also happened to be a better price than local stores. We recieved our ripstick and my daughter got on it immediately, she was on it for about 2 hours and only had it for 2 days when the rear wheel crumbled apart. I called Amazon right up and they explained there must have been an air bubble or some kind of defect in the wheel. We have a new set of wheels sent out to us right away, free of charge of course! I was very pleased with the ease in ordering this item online

I bought a RipStik for my 12 year old son for his birthday. This led to constant torment from his 7 and 10 year old sisters for play time with it. After 3 days, I could see which way the wind was blowing, and I bought 2 more. That was 3 months ago. The kids are constantly on the boards, on the move, inventing new games, challenging each other to races, chalking twisted pathways in the street and sidewalks, walking the dog, to the park.... The board is easy to learn, develops balance and co-ordination, is endlessly fascinating, and keeps them very active.It is a perfect toy!Customer Review: The RipStik Rules!!

I received the RipStik for my 11th birthday and I love it! It can be a challenge to stay balanced at first but in a few days you can ride like the wind! Begin by practicing on a small hill. I like that the wheels turn 360 degrees...it makes it easier to get started. It turns smoothly and is MUCH more fun than a skateboard. The grips help you stay on the board, even if your sneakers don't have good treads. This is the best outdoor toy I've ever received. I bought the RIPSTICK as a surprise for my older son. He was eyeing one for a while and I knew his preference for a GREEN one....I already knew about how great the RIPSTICK was...but when it came to the choice of colors....AMAZON was the best. I even got free shipping & no tax, and the price I paid came out to be less than what these are available at the stores...
