I knew what I was getting into when I bought this knife. It is indeed a knife NOT a razor.
I read description very carefully and I knew I was getting a folding knife shaped like a straight razor.
It's not the sharpest thing I own, but it's not all that dull either. In fact I accidentally sliced off a sliver of skin from my finger the day it came in. Thankfully it wasn't deep enough to bleed.
This is an interesting conversation piece if you like knives and other sharp things. It's not exactly lightweight as a description suggests, but that's really kind of subjective. The handle feels good and solid in my hand. I'll admit this blade was a little bigger than I expected but that's okay because it pretty much fits my hand perfect.
I can't really see myself whipping this thing out in a self defense emergency. You can't open it with one hand, and it doesn't open easy.
I honestly can't imagine what I could do with this knife. Maybe wood carving? Then again, I didn't buy it to use, I bought it because it's another knife to add to my collection. I might even give it away as a Christmas present.
