I use this mask while I mow and it really helps to keep me from coughing. In fact since I started wearing it I haven't coughed at all while mowing. I would highly recommend this product to anybody who has problems with dust and allergies.
On a different note, the fit is snug which is good, but the mask has a tendency to pull down on its own and puts pressure on the top of my nose. I would like to see an improvment which would add a second strap up higher on the back of the head as this will provide lift and keep the mask positioned more squarely on my face.
Again, I highly recommend this mask in fit and function over other dust masks I've used.

This mask was perfect for Burning Man! We had 3 really bad dust storms, one lasting 4 hours. This mask kept me breathing and safe. I actually was out in the dust storm and had no problems what so ever. It was stylish, went with all my costumes and fit well with my goggles. The only thing is, you do sweat a lot in this mask when it is hot.Customer Review: Good mask

I found the mask to be very effective in cutting down the polutants sucked in the lungs standing on busstops and riding bicycles in Los Angeles. Also serves to keep people away since you will look kinda intimidating - great for women as an added measure of safety :-)Customer Review: Fit problems

I bought this for my current trip in Xian China where the pollution is horrible, and really want it to work, but have the following problems with it: 1.) If adjusted comfortably, air leaks between my nose and eyes and fogs up my glasses, but if tightened up enough to stop that it pinches my nose and limits my air intake. 2.) The soft metal external nose bridge gets too easily bent out of shape and deformed. 3.) The velcro straps that go behind your neck keep pulling the mask downward: what's needed is another strap to go above the ears & behind the head.Customer Review: Not for American Fat Heads!

I have a large skull and this thing may very well just barely fit but it teeters on the brink of sliding off my face to one side or the other. The construction is solid but just a little more material and so many more lungs could better protected. Performance measurement still forthcoming. If you think you have a big head you may not be pleased.
