I can enjoy weekend camping so much more now that I don't have to worry about the twice-nightly walk to the campground bathrooms in the dark. This seat, combined with a bucket, is the best money we ever spent on camping supplies and is flexible for people on a budget. It can be used with a three or five gallon bucket - use one you find in your basement or you can buy a new bucket to use with it. It can be used with waste bags (we used Double Doodie bags, which made for quick and clean disposal) or without. The bucket can store your toilet paper and sanitary wipes when not in use. I looked at other portable camp toilets and found this to be the sturdiest for the larger people in our camping group. When used with the five gallon bucket, it is also one of the highest toilets which feels closer to the real thing and is more comfortable for taller people. Although not completely airtight, the lid does close, which keeps insects and other critters from exploring in your toilet. I will definitely buy another when this one wears out because with a portable privacy shelter, it will also make a great additional bathroom for big family gatherings/parties.
