if your a tent camper or cabin camper with no toilet facility, then this is the way to go for those middle of the night or early morning runs to the twa. It fits on any standard 5 gal bucket. The lid is a must! You want to keep that lid down unless you can remove the contents like really quick!
I used a good quality, opaque white, brand name 8 gallon kitchen garbage bag/s to fit over the seat and into the bucket, so I wouldn't come into any contact with the plastic bucket or toilet seat(less to sanitize). I added the gelling agent chemical in the bag b4 using the it, it would make a gel out of the liquid(nicer to transport it, and it helps with the smell so that it doesnt' really smell!). After awakening for the day and feeling like going to the pit toilets, I would dump the contents of the bag in the pit toilet and toss the empty bag in the campsite dumpster. so it is very easy and convenient, and now there is no real mess in the bucket to clean and its ready for the next night with a new plastic bag. I only use the portable Loo during the night/early morning when roaming around in the dark or cold is not too fun.
