Description of Reebok Fitwatch 10S Strapless Heart Rate Monitor Watch (Blue)
This Reebok strapless heart rate monitor is one of the smallest on the market and allows the user to get accurate heart rate without having to use a chest belt.Specifically made for women, with its lightweight and slender design, this all-in-one heart rate monitor and sports watch by Reebok uses a patented method called "pulse technology" to measure the electrical pulses sent out by your heart each time it beats. Of course, the amazing part is that it works by finger touch rather than the cumbersome chest strap used by most other heart monitors. Within four seconds of touching the sensors on the watch, you can get not only an accurate heart rate reading, but also the number of calories burned during your workout.
The monitor has a programmable heart rate zone with audible and visual alarms to alert you when you get out of zone, plus a settable alarm if you have a maximum rate you should not exceed. Made from durable plastic and fully water-resistant, the device also features regular watch functions, plus a 100-hour stopwatch and countdown timer. It comes with a complete walking and exercise guide and one-year warranty.
About Reebok
Reebok's United Kingdom-based ancestor company was founded for one of the best reasons possible: athletes wanted to run faster. So, in the 1890s, Joseph William Foster made some of the first known running shoes with spikes in them. I got this instead of spending $100 on a chest strap monitor, and am very glad I did. I tested it against the monitors on the machines at the gym, and it is always the same. It really helps me maximize my workouts, because I can check my HR to make sure its up where it needs to be. And its a great watch/stop watch as well. I was recently diagnosed with a heart arrhythmia. I wanted a watch to wear so that I could easily check my heart rate. This watch is perfect, and it is simple to check my heart rate, even when I am walking or exercising. I am also using its other functions, including the alarm to remind me to take my medicine. It is also light, attractive, and easy to read, plus I like the fact that I don't need a strap around my chest. I highly recommend this watch.Customer Review: I like it

I like this because I don't have to wear the chest strap. It doesn't take continuous heart rate, but I've found it sufficient for my needs. I can still take my pulse without really stopping what I'm doing. I also like that I can set a custom range to set my goal heart rate in during a work out so that I can make sure I stay in that range without having to remember all the numbers or count by hand. I love this watch. It doesn't have or need any wires to hook to your shirt or chest. Just simply use 2 fingers to press the 2 buttons on the face of the watch. It has a lot more programs than I thought it would have. It has regular time with the day and the date in the face, heart rate, alarm, calorie counter, timer, dual, and CHR. It is great. I dont even use all of the programs. Actually, I wear the watch everyday, even when I am not working out.Customer Review: Love this watch!

This is a great strapless heart rate monitor! I rec'd a different heart rate watch for xmas - but it had the cumbersome chest strap monitor. I sent it back and bought this one instead and it is exactly what I was looking for! I have used it several times and find that the heart rate feature is easy to use and I do not have to "stop" my aerobic activity to check my heart rate. The calorie counter is an added bonus. I LOVE THIS WATCH!
