The Razor Promodel Kick Scooter has been designed and tested by Team Razor Pro-Riders with durability and performance in mind. Bought this for my daughter after she had been given another scooter of lesser quality that she never used. I took a chance on this one hoping she would ride it. She loves it and so does my other daughter!!! It was a big hit for a present, and I plan on getting another 2 of them, one of those for me. It is very well built, smooth riding and a lot of fun. That makes all the difference. Also looks nice. It's good for kids (and adults!) to get them outside and doing something physical. For the price you cannot beat it. I purchased two Razor Pro scooters which my daughter and I used at the WBK in May 2009 at the Miller Motorsports Park. Not only did they work really well, but many people asked where we rented the scooter, or what a great idea, or you looked so cool on the scooter.
The surface must be smooth as there is no cushion in the tires so even a small piece of gravel can transmit a harsh vibration thru the bars, so one must look carefully for ruts, patches and generally un-smooth surfaces. Still they are great for getting around while still getting some exercise.

I bought this scooter for my 13yr old son. He scooters a ton and does a ton of jumps with it. This is the second one of the pro models he has had. For kids that do a lot of "extreme" scootering, I would say this a top notch model. It doesn't fall apart easily and lasts a long time. The tires wear out faster than anything. It's definetly worth the money. You can't buy this model in the stores and buying through Amazon, I got it with free shipping and it was here in like 4 days.Customer Review: This is the scooter to get.

I am currently 15 and ride scooters all the time off jumps and have done a lot of crashes, spills, and wipe outs and this scooter still stayed together. On the other models they have not reinforced them enough and so i break them all the time i went thorough about 4 scooters and this one lasted me the longest. I have had it for about 9 months and it is still fine. I just need to buy new wheels and grips every once in a while which isn't a problem.Customer Review: razor pro model

The pro model is an awesome scooter. My 10 year old son and his friends love it. They all want to know where he got it because we couldn't find this model in the stores. It is very durable, and even came with a dvd showing some cool tricks. The best thing about this model is that it's got the grip tape across the entire deck, unlike the other models which is easier to slip off of, especially if it gets wet.
