Customer Review: Fun little hunk o' Aluminum

I work at a facility up on a hill. Part of our company benefit includes super cheap public transportation. I take the train to work and the scooter down hill and back home. This little thing weighs almost nothing and it cruises pretty well down hill. I can take it on the train with me without having to worry about a big bulky bicycle or anything. At work I can put it into a locker so I don't have to worry about it getting stolen. On the way home I actually have to use the break to keep from going too fast down hill. Lastly with the shiny aluminum frame I feel safer riding at night time because the whole thing is like a big reflector.
I'm probably the clumsiest person on earth, but this thing is easy to ride. I haven't wrecked yet.
I like the design of this scooter, the metal is very sturdy, the grip tape holds up good, the wheels seem really tough, the break is easy to use, the steering is just what you'd expect... I could go on, let me just say it's a good scooter with a good value.
Lastly, I have the red model. I like it. I haven't seen the silver model, but the red is like a translucent plastic or rubber (don't know which). It's really cool.

I've owned quite a few scooters, and this is probably my favorite of my kick scooters.
It fixes the problems from the others before it.
From model A (the older vesion), it takes the general design, but raises the handelbars and adds even more padding on the handgrips. It also has grip tape--very useful for tricks or going fast.
From model A2, it takes the shocks. While it doesn't have the wheely bar, it doesn't matter. That just got in the way anyway.
It also it much sturdier, quieter (not so rackety), and can fit all sorts of people. It also takes abuse very well. the wheels are the older style thick ones and the hand grips are maybe twice the old model A and three times the model A2.
Overall, this is a very good buy.

Great for skate parks because of the solid bottom, its allowed into all skate parks. The solid bottom doesnt tear up the ramps so it is the only scooter allowed into the parks. Had them for 4 weeks now with no issues. Got one for my 6 year old and my 11 year old and they love them. Make sure you read the directions on adjusting the scooter! There is a set screw in the front of the scooter that needed to be adjusted on both scooters. It tights up the space between front forks and the deck of the scooter. If not adjusted there will be play between the two componets. Other than that a great product and worth the extra $10 bucks!!! Would buy again!! I bought this product for myself to get more exercise for me and my dog. I push going uphill and she gets to run going downhill. It was going fine until she got in front of me toward the end of a hill and I panicked and stepped too hard on the brake and flipped the scooter and me! I landed on macadam pretty hard and ended up with a broken coccyx. It's been five weeks and I still can't sit on a soft surface and haven't been able to get on the scooter again. I will use the scooter again, just not with the dog!! It was a very stable ride and I thoroughly enjoyed using it, the exercise was great! Just beware of the brake and use it a tap at a time, it's NOT for quick stops!Customer Review: Fantastic all around!

I got this scooter as a quick and easy mode of transportation on OSU campus (given that OSU is the 2nd largest in the country, I saw it fit.) I didn't want to spend money on a bike, and rollerblades would've been to much of a hastle. So I came to this scooter conclusion! And I'm so freakin' glad I did. Not only did the product come lickity (or however you spell it) split, but it was new, as it should've been, and works fantastic! This thing gets me from point A to B on campus a lot faster than walking ever would've. Soooo glad I got this scooter and HIGHLY recommend it to anyone who wants quick and cheap transportation anywhere. Plus, it's just plain fun to ride around on.
