Sports reviews of Razor Pro Model Scooter (Clear/Black)Customer Review: Buy it! Sport shop rating: 5 Stars
I'm a college student who's been using scooters for a while to get around on campus. I also do tricks on them and take them to the park every once in a while. The Razor A1 scooter I had first lasted me about 4 months, then I had basically broken it in half :-)
The Pro Model is much more solid. Everything on it is just more solid and looks like it will last for quite a while. The full grip tape and bigger handle bars are nice touches. And for those of you who know your Razors, the folding mechanism is closer to the original 1st generation Razors than the newer stuff they've been coming out with.
Get this scooter model if you're over 140 lbs or if you want to do anything crazy with it! Can't beat this performance for the price.
Customer Review: Amazing piece of equipment. Sport shop rating: 5 Stars
I have had my razor pro for a little over three years now, and it has done me well. It is very sturdy and has a smooth ride. I had an older more expensive scooter before this one and I managed to break it in half in a little over a year. I have been taking this one to the skate park and beaten it up a bit and it is still as sturdy as it was when I bought it three years ago!
This scooter is great for smooth surfaces, but if you are going to be riding on bumpy surfaces I would recommend an A2. I think this is perfect for those who like skate parks and those who expect to get alot of use out of it. But it lacks the features of a kickstand, small suspension and other things of that sort. It is truly a SPORTS skooter.
Customer Review: Very sturdy model Sport shop rating: 5 Stars
This model is way more than a toy. It's evident from the first look that it really is a pro model scooter. The grip tape covers the entire deck. The underside of the deck is double reinforced so you can grind with it. The grips are big so they're comfortable in a big person's hands. All around, a really quality item. We've had this scooter since Christmas, and my son has done some pretty hard riding on it. He is about 5'8, 150. The thing is showing no wear at all. The thing I like best about it is that it's just silent. The wheels are amazingly smooth. He rides his skateboard and it makes a racket in the driveway, but when he scooters, it makes no noise at all. So, needless to say, weekend mornings are scooter time!
Customer Review: Track Solution Sport shop rating: 5 Stars
Being a chief driving instructor for performance driving events at various racetracks, I've found my need for moving up and down pit lane and the paddock area a long walk affair. The constant walking up and down the full length of pit row while also a need to be back and forth to control, the purchase of the Razor was something I had been considering for some time as a quicker alternative to walking. This little scooter is well designed but most of all, very well made. Sturdy, smooth operating, and also with a fun paint scheme, make it a great buy for a way to save time and energy where time is of the essence.
Customer Review: Excellent Scooter!! Sport shop rating: 5 Stars
We purchased this as a Christmas present for my 10 year old daughter. She has not been interested in learning to ride a bike, but she will not get off this scooter! We live in the midwest where temperatures are not exactly comfortable for winter scooter rides, but she has been on the thing every day since Christmas. It did not take her long to figure out how to stop and start, and her balance has improved greatly in just a few days. I hope to get her on a bike soon, but she is getting exercise and very happy with the scooter.
