My five year old got this for Christmas and she loves it! She can ride a bike and has been doing so without training wheels for a couple of years now but I was worried about her not being able to control the 15 mph speed. It took her about 3 days to get used to it but now she rides around our neighborhood with ease. She's on the smaller side as well and the only issue is parking it on her own and using the kick stand which is a little difficult to work. I can ride it too! Great price, great toy and easy to put together. Took my husband about 10 minutes. I would recommend for any child over five who is confident on a bike.Customer Review: Razor Scooter Rocks

I bought this scooter for my daughter on her 8th birthday. She loves it. It is the perfect size. Her feet touch the ground as she sits on the seat and it doesn't go too fast. The throttle and the brakes are very easy to control. The ages for this scooter are 12-16 but it is perfect for younger children as well. The scooters speed is about 12-15 mph. Helmets are a very good idea with this scooter. The best thing about this scooter is the weight limit is 150 pounds so I can ride it too. I definitely recommend this scooter to everyone. I ordered this scooter for my daughter's birthday in a panic since I had to have it in 3 days and I was receiving free shipping. One never knows how that will be. However, Amazon is GREAT! I received it in 2 1/2 days. I would love to order 2 more for my other kids, but at $200 a pop, they'll have to wait. The scooter, itself, is great. The battery charges easily and holds a good amount of time. The plastic scratches easily, but I knew that was a possibility. I would recommend the product to anyone with a responsible child! We are all adults but use this at our vacation resort home intending to ride to the market, beach club and the local hotel. It was purchased as kind of a joke but is better than expected--even powering us 180-200 pound men around as long as we don't try to go much uphill. Wish I had one when I was a kid but still enjoy it even as over the hill 40 year old. Battery is better than expected and looks just like miniature Vespa. Lots of unexpected compliments from passerby. We are buying a couple more.Customer Review: So much fun!

After shopping around I feel like I got a great deal on this scooter. I suppose it was because the color (we got the bistro model) maybe wasn't as popular as some of the others. I got it for my 10 year old girl but I (who weighs approx. 175lb.s) had a blast on it. I didn't expect it to go as fast as it did. It's super cute and my Abby loved it! I do recommend having your child wear a helmet and taking her out someplace safe with no traffic to first try it out, and get the hang of it.
