Sports reviews of Razor E300 Electric Scooter (Blue)Customer Review: Razor products don't last long enough Sport shop rating: 2 StarsThe e300 is actually a 1 star product, but I gave it two stars only because when it works, my son loves it. We have had the scooter for 3 years. It worked without problems for the first 3 months. After that, the charger went out. Then the battery went out. Then the brake lever broke. After that, the chain broke. We live in rainy seattle where my son can only use his scooter for 3 months a year, so for the first 2 years, the scooter needed something replaced after every 2 or 3 rides. At the beginning of summer #3, the scooter's brake assembly broke. Razor does not sell a replacement part for this, so the scooter has sat in our garage for the last year unridden with no brakes.
We also have an e100 that was purchased at the same time. We have never been able to get the chain to stay on for more than 2 rides, and it has also needed several repairs and replacement parts.
and finally, we also own a Razor Ground force electric go-kart. It has also required 4 replacement parts in 2 years.
I have learned my lesson and will no longer be purchasing Razor products. Shame because they are so much fun when they are working.
Customer Review: The Razor E300 Sport shop rating: 5 StarsMy 11 year old loves it she is out as much as she can be right what with all the snow & all the last three weeks. she goes out rides the scooter till the batteries go down then hooks it up to the charger. when it has charged she is at it again. The down side to this is she gets only 40 to 50 minutes of continuous riding per charge. and it take about 8 hours to charge. but she is cool with that.
Customer Review: Kids Love It Sport shop rating: 4 StarsThe kids love this scooter. It goes fast enough and the blue color looks sharp. My 15 year old daughter down to my 5 year old son both love riding the scooter. I just wish that it held it's charge longer than 45 minutes.
Customer Review: You get what you pay for ! Sport shop rating: 1 StarsI bought 2 of these for my kids, 7 & 10 Y/O... The packages arrived all torn up and missing cardboard in many areas, those areas had been package taped to keep in the product. Both scooters were scratched due to the missing protective cardboard... I saved around $40 each... NOT WORTH IT... These are advertised as "NEW". They may have never been purchased but they are certainly not new! Poor Christmas presents at that rate.
Also note, Chain is shipped to tight, loosen the chain for best performance. I am around 185lbs and these scooters pulled me around on a flat surface and a full battery. Battery life is terrible, around 30 mins for my 7 Y/O that weighs approx 50lbs wet.
Many people have thought this would be too fast for a 7y/o... by far it was not! Overall I would say KEEP LOOKING!
Customer Review: don't buy this Sport shop rating: 1 StarsThis never worked and Razor was very unhelpful, in fact refused to do anything about it. Steer clear! Waste of money!
