The Razor E100 2006 version is a new and improved electric scooter. Powerful fun at speeds up to 10 mph. Up to 40 minutes of continuous use after one charge. Boasting an adjustable handlebar that adapts to riders of all sizes, an ultra-quiet belt-driven motor, and a handy twist-grip throttle, the E100 is the perfect device for pre-teens and teens wanting to zip over to a friend's house or head to the park. Unlike Razor's E300S and E500S scooters--whose motors start from a standing position--the E100 requires a small manual kickoff to 3 miles per hour before starting (the rider presses a trigger to engage the motor). Once your child is on the move, however, the electric motor ramps up to 10 miles per hour--fast enough to have fun, but not fast enough to be a menace on the street or sidewalk.
Thanks to the long-life rechargeable battery, which takes about eight hours to fully charge, riders can cruise for up to 40 minutes at a stretch. Other details include a folding handlebar mechanism for easy storage and transport, an 8-inch pneumatic front tire and 4.9-inch polyurethane rear wheel, and a hand-operated front brake. The E100 is recommended for ages 8 and older and offers a maximum weight capacity of 120 pounds. It also comes with a pair of 12-volt batteries, a charger, and tools and is backed by a 90-day warranty.

I love this scooter! I am 8 yrs old, and this is a great toy for me. The kick start seemed kinda fast at first, but I got used to it. My street has no hills so the scooter goes great all the time. Make sure you wear your helmet.My friends are all jealous, it's the greatest toy in the neighborhood.
I wish the kickstand was bigger so the scooter would stay up better when I'm not on it.

Santa brought this for our 8-year-old son - it was a big hit. He loves to motor around on it. When he takes a break, his mom (me) has been known to "steal" it for a moment or two. It's really a great little scooter and lots of fun! The battery seems to last a long time (we've never had it run out yet, but being winter and cold, we've not spent really extended amounts of time on it).Customer Review: Love it!

Bought this for my 6 year old son for Christmas. He loves it. I definately would suggest if you buy this get a helmet, knee pads and elbow pads. There have been a few times that he hasn't slowed down enough taking a turn and he has taken a tumble. That is totally my son though. Little dare devil. I purchased 4 at Christmas (from santa) and 1 last month for a birthday gift. All of the kids (age range 5-9) love it. Would highly recommend it. Just make sure you read instructions on charging it. Oh, make sure if more then one is ridding at the same time that you tell them to all go in the same direction, we did have a unfortunate jousting crash the first day.Customer Review: Great product

This scooter is great! Easy to put together, just click the handlebar into the base. My 10 year old loves it and thinks he is the coolest kid in town! I would recommend this product to anyone looking for an electric scooter for a younger child (8-11). Max speed is 10 MPH, which is plenty fast for my son. He loves it, and I love it! Great scooter!
