Boasting an adjustable handlebar that adapts to riders of all sizes, an ultra-quiet belt-driven motor, and a handy twist-grip throttle, the E100 is the perfect device for pre-teens and teens wanting to zip over to a friend's house or head to the park. Unlike Razor's E300S and E500S scooters--whose motors start from a standing position--the E100 requires a small manual kickoff to 3 miles per hour before starting (the rider presses a trigger to engage the motor). Once your child is on the move, however, the electric motor ramps up to 10 miles per hour--fast enough to have fun, but not fast enough to be a menace on the street or sidewalk.
Thanks to the long-life rechargeable battery, which takes about eight hours to fully charge, riders can cruise for up to 40 minutes at a stretch. Other details include a folding handlebar mechanism for easy storage and transport, an 8-inch pneumatic front tire and 4.9-inch polyurethane rear wheel, and a hand-operated front brake. The E100 is recommended for ages 8 and older and offers a maximum weight capacity of 120 pounds. It also comes with a pair of 12-volt batteries, a charger, and tools and is backed by a 90-day warranty.

The scooter is great!!! It came with everything we needed to charge it up. It was very easy to assemble. We felt it was a great value, considering that the local stores had it on sale for the same price. Only we did not have to drive to get it, it was delivered to our home with free shipping. It is a peppy scooter for a first time user. It is just the right size for our 8 year old and he loves it. What more can you ask for? I have been very pleased with the scooter purchased we made before Christmas. I was very nervous about their safety for my 7 year old son. After seeing the scooter in action, I am not as concerned about his safety. He is aware to be careful going up and down the sidewalk because it could scrape and tear up the motor. He loves it! The razor is everything and more for my 8-year old son. Easy to assemble and very durable. My son and his best friend have ridden it quite a bit since Christmas, when we bought it. It holds its charge for at least 2 hours if not longer. Had one little issue initially with some rocks getting into the chain and jamming, but was easy to repair and have not had another issue since. I wish they had one for 200 lbs men to ride!

We bought this motorized scooter for our 5 year old grandson and at first he was rather hesitant to ride it but his PaPa was more than anxious to ride with him....it was a hoot! It may be a little much for a 5 year old by themselves at first, but with guidance from parents/grandparents until they get confident, is it well worth the fun it will bring. We did also buy the helmet, knee, and elbow pads which I highly recommend.Customer Review: excellent item!

I checked out the reviews before making this purchase as I was very hesitant about the safety of this scooter.
In reality, my daughter is enjoying it tremendously for the 40 minutes every day. After that she rides her bike!
It is a change, and fun, and as she outgrows it, the grandchildren will get it.
Great value, and great fun! Of course, she is wearing a helmet and following the instructions.
