The Razor E100 electric scooter is extremely powerful and reaches speeds up to 10 mph. This scooter can be used for up to forty minutes of continuous use. There is a new chain driven motor and a new twist-grip throttle to control your acceleration. Features include a hand operated front brake, adjustable handlebar height, handlebar folding mechanism, variable speed chain drive, high torque motor, and rechargebale battery. Boasting an adjustable handlebar that adapts to riders of all sizes, a chain-driven, high-torque motor, and a handy twist-grip throttle, the E100 is the perfect device for pre-teens and teens wanting to zip over to a friend's house or head to the park. Unlike Razor's E300S and E500S scooters--whose motors start from a standing position--the E100 requires a small manual kickoff to 3 miles per hour before starting (the rider presses a trigger to engage the motor). Once your child is on the move, however, the electric motor ramps up to 10 miles per hour--fast enough to have fun, but not fast enough to be a menace on the street or sidewalk. And thanks to the long-life rechargeable battery, which takes about eight hours to fully charge, riders can cruise for up to 40 minutes at a stretch. Other details include a folding handlebar mechanism for easy storage and transport, an 8-inch pneumatic front tire and 4.9-inch polyurethane rear wheel, and a hand-operated front brake. The E100 is recommended for ages 8 and older and offers a maximum weight capacity of 120 pounds. It also comes with a pair of 12-volt batteries, a charger, and tools and is backed by a 90-day warranty.

My 7 year old daughter used all her savings from the last 2 years to buy this scooter and with a big surprise to me it is alot better than I expected it to be. The only problem that we have encountered so far, while it really isn't a huge problem, is that when making a right turn the chain guard bottoms out. came quickly in the mail. the chain guard broke off very quickly though, within a few days. but i think it was because my daughter was using it to go from a sidewalk onto the road or vice versus. if there is any little bump at all the bottom of the scooter and the chain guard could hit the road and break off.Customer Review: scooterride...

fast delivery, undamaged product in working order however, the box was essentially pulled off the shelf and a shipping label affixed to it. My son answered the door for UPS and wanted to know who we ordered the scooter for
