The Razor E100 electric scooter is extremely powerful and reaches speeds up to 10 mph. This scooter can be used for up to forty minutes of continuous use. There is a new chain driven motor and a new twist-grip throttle to control your acceleration. Features include a hand operated front brake, adjustable handlebar height, handlebar folding mechanism, variable speed chain drive, high torque motor, and rechargebale battery. Unlike Razor's E300S and E500S scooters--whose motors start from a standing position--the E100 requires a small manual kickoff to 3 miles per hour before starting (the rider presses a trigger to engage the motor). Once your child is on the move, however, the electric motor ramps up to 10 miles per hour--fast enough to have fun, but not fast enough to be a menace on the street or sidewalk. And thanks to the long-life rechargeable battery, which takes about eight hours to fully charge, riders can cruise for up to 40 minutes at a stretch. Other details include a folding handlebar mechanism for easy storage and transport, an 8-inch pneumatic front tire and 4.9-inch polyurethane rear wheel, and a hand-operated front brake. The E100 is recommended for ages 8 and older and offers a maximum weight capacity of 120 pounds. It also comes with a pair of 12-volt batteries, a charger, and tools and is backed by a 90-day warranty.

I ordered this item and in 5 days it arrived....my daughter has had the best christmas this past year and I owe alot of that to Amazon for offering this product alot cheaper and with free shipping very fast. I tried to get it at a local store and could not afford the price. So I was able to get this and spend more on my daughter. She rides every day and so do I, its lots of fun and we laugh so hard. What a way to bond. Thanks Amazon....P.S. Im returning to Nursing school and have found all my books for alot less than my bookstore plus free shipping and got them in 3 days....I will always check here FIRST.....

This scooter is great. My daughter got it for her 8th birthday. I almost bought a slightly faster model, and I'm glad I didn't. The E100 is plenty fast enough for an 8 year old. She loves it!! We've had no trouble whatsoever with the battery. I'd heard that it helps to fully discharge it from time to time, so we do. She rides it during the day, we plug it in at night, presto. Only once has the battery run out before she was done riding. I highly recommend this really fun scooter!Customer Review: Great scooter

The scooter was great. We ordered two, one pink and one blue for Christmas. Unfortunately, Amazon sent the Pink one in the regular product box (which has a big picture of a pink scooter all over the box) and packaged the blue one in a plain box (the way it was supposed to be). So when they were delivered together our kids saw the pink one and immediately knew what was in the "Plain" box too.

My 10 year old daughter loved this scooter so much she spent her own money to buy it. Of course I put it together and that took all but about 10 minutes. One thing that worried me is when it came it was in a box that looked quite damaged, but everything inside turned out to be just fine. I bought both my daughters the E100 electric scooter and they love them! They are easy to charge so the girls are able to do it themselves.
This product is not meant for long rides or big hills. This scooter last between 3 and 5 miles then needs to be recharged. It is great just to ride around the neighborhood to see friends.
