The Razor E100 electric scooter is extremely powerful and reaches speeds up to 10 mph. This scooter can be used for up to forty minutes of continuous use. There is a new chain driven motor and a new twist-grip throttle to control your acceleration. Features include a hand operated front brake, adjustable handlebar height, handlebar folding mechanism, variable speed chain drive, high torque motor, and rechargebale battery. Customer Review: Great item but 2nd item with bad delivery

I bought this for my nine year old niece for Christmas. She loves it but she really has not been able to use it outside because it is been soo cold but she did ride it round the basement. Not recommended because it can go kind of fast. There was another review about if it is a gift to be careful because the picture on the box will give it away to the kids. That is absolutely true my niece saw the box but I lied and told her it was the neighbors and since they were not home they put it on our porch.
This is the second item I bought where the condition of the box had me wondering whether the product would work. The box was torn and damaged and in the manner in how it was put on the porch left me to wonder where they just threw it onto the porch. So far it works good!!

I was a little concerned that my granddaughter has only just turned 7, and this was for "8 and older", but she LOVES this scooter! (I got the red one for my 5-year old grandson, too!) They faithfully wear their helmets and stay away from any hills, and have been safe and sound on their scooters for the 2 hours a day they have spent riding them since Christmas. One negative: INSIDE the box (instead of OUTSIDE the box where it SHOULD be) it warns that if you store the battery in freezing areas it will kill the battery. I stored this before Christmas in my freezing garage with no adverse affect to the battery, thank goodness. Another hint: assemble this (fairly easy to do!) a couple days before you give it as the battery must be charged 16 hours before the 1st use.Customer Review: Good value, good product, daughter loves it

Gave this to my daughter for Christmas 2007. It was easy to assemble, and we pre-charged it overnight prior to the big day. She absolutely loves it, and I have a feeling the neighborhood kids will be receiving these soon as well -- they line up to take turns.
Great battery life, an overnight charge gives it enough power to go for an extended period of time -- usually a single charge will last all day assuming sporadic periods of riding.
It goes up to 10MPH. I was initially concerned about my 7-year-old riding this in the name of safety, but after ten minutes she went from trepidation to mastery. Make sure your kids wear helmets, of course.
No complaints, it's a great product (so far) for the price, highly recommended.

This product showed up on time. I had very little to put together, one main pc which was easy to assemble. My neice and nephew who are 8 and 9 drove them all aftertnoon with smiles on each of their faces. The speed of the schooter was perfect. Something they could handle right away. They did have to remember to pick the kick stand up, but other then that they had no troubles. It was plugged in for the next day's use. No worries. I also noticed that the place where the product was to be charged had a cap to place over it while not in use...perfect, so no sand, debree can get in to distroy. The weight was sturdy. 32 pounds the box stated when delivered. paint job was very good quality as well, over all a perfect item.Customer Review: Razor E100 Scooter

I purchased this for my 10 yr old daughter. I was impressed with how easy it was to assemble. The only thing that was an issue- having to wait the 18 hours for the battery to charge before using.
After charging (next day)- she has had a blast with it. She wears a helmet while riding it because it actuals goes around 10-12mph. That is quicker than you think when standing on a skatebaord sized platform.
The charge lasts about 30-45 minutes of continuous use. She weighs 70 pounds. The maximum weight for this scooter is 125 pounds.
WE (she) loves it. A great gift. But child must be responsible or you can get hurt.
