I recently got this for my 8 year old daughter, who outgrew her regular scooter also a Razor. Well, I steal the occasional ride, but was surprised that this one seems a bit on the riskier side - due to the large wheels which get stuck in the small gaps between the pavement, which never used to happen in the old one. Just as I thought - 0 falls in the old one and a nasty fall for the girl on this one. So, we have started riding it on the road. But if you are planning to get one - make sure you have a safe place to ride. It get 3 * because of the wider base and higher handle. Hope this helps.
