We had a previous generation Razor for my first child. It is very durable and survived five years of use. Now my second child wanted one of her own and the A2 was what we got. This is not much different with regards to design aside from a few tweaks. The durability and quality of build seems to be at he same level and the fun factor is just as high. Thank God Razor makes this scooter in PURPLE! My 4 year old daughter has wanted one of these for 2 years, but was obviously too small for one. Easy to assemble. I see my daughter riding her scooter all over the neighborhood. Some kids in the block decided to ask Santa for the same toy and they seem to have fun togehter with it. I bought this for my 7 year old (tom boy) daughter for Christmas. Best gift ever! She is still riding it everywhere, and loves it. I am very pleased with how sturdy it is and love the color choices I had to choose from. Razor Rocks!
