Description of Razor A Kick Scooter

The original kick scooter, the Razor A is a handy little ride for kids and teens alike. Though it'll never replace the internal combustion engine, the scooter will get your child from point A to point B much quicker than on foot alone, and requires just a few scoots of one's shoes in the process. Plus, it's a blast to use, as your progeny will likely attest.

The Razor A is built of aircraft-grade aluminum, a sturdy material that holds up to use and abuse through the years. Its T-tube and deck, meanwhile, fold up into a compact footprint, so riders can fit the scooter inside a bag or carry it at their side when riding isn't appropriate (it weighs around 6 pounds). And thanks to the 98mm inline-style urethane wheels, ABEC 5 bearings, and patented rear fender brake, riders will always feel smooth and in control when kicking along the sidewalk.

Recommended for ages 5 and older, the Razor A will support a rider up to 143 pounds. It's also backed by a six-month warranty. For the next step up, try the Razor A2 Scooter.

When you're done riding, the Razor A folds down to a nicely compact size.

Sports reviews of Razor A Kick Scooter

Customer Review: Love IT
Sport shop rating: 5 Stars

This is a great product for children! It is sturdy and fun for short or long periods of time. I know my sister likes to ride it along side of my parents when they are going for a walk. It is a great and fun way for them to get their excersise in. Out of all the scooters I have seen in the past this one is by far the best and most reliable for a child to be using.

Customer Review: 4 yr old LOVES it
Sport shop rating: 5 Stars

My 4 yr old received this scooter this summer, and rides it every day! I am having to beg him to ride his bike sometimes! I cannot believe how he goes zipping around (talk about learning balance) and this scooter seems very tough, as it has been holding up great. And no one else in the neighborhood has the green color.

Customer Review: Excellent scooter
Sport shop rating: 5 Stars

We have bought this for our daughter and she absolutely loves it.
The scooter is well-built and sturdy, while still looking cool.
The materials are quite strong and durable, so even an adult can ride this.
We do recommend buying a set of protective gear, as learning involves a few falls.

Customer Review: Light, Robust and Foldable
Sport shop rating: 5 Stars

My 6-year old son fell in love with this scooter the first time he tried. It is very light yet robust (if you are 160lb, you can step on it without bending it!). The foldable feature is really handy - my son can flip the switch to fold it easily, then hold it without much effort.

Customer Review: Great!
Sport shop rating: 5 Stars

I have had my Razor Pro for six years , and it is great . My first grinds were when I was five , along the side of the curb . I had to get new handle grips for it though , and you need to get new wheels after a while . Over all , great product , VERY durable .
