This was the main thing my daughter wanted for Christmas this year and now that she has it she absolutely loves it. We bought the A1 because it came in Pink, which is not available in the A2 version. My son already had the A2 and I cannot discern any difference between the two. Our granddaughter really likes her scooter which we gave her for Christmas. I was really pleased that we received it within a few days. We could not find a pink one in the stores. I bought the scooter for my seven year old daughter. She refuses to ride a bike, but will use her razor for hours! We were trying to "trick" her into finding exercise that she enjoys! Well it worked. I paid $40 for the scooter online, and then found them on sale in stores for $20- a little disappointing. I bought this scooter for my two daughters (ages 5 and 7). It arrived, opened the box and boom! They were out on the driveway. Easy to use, smooth on the sidewalks and driveway - they love it. I have ordered one of these for all three kids (ages 5,8,10). The 8 year old said we should order several more for when friends come. They are portable, even fit in a suitcase when folded, and support a lot of weight. Boys and girls like them, even those for whom bikes are too challenging.
We're glad we got it.
