I bought this scooter for each of my 5 year olds for their birthday. It was easy to assemble, easy to control, and it rides really nice. I even gave it a whirl! I figured it would help with balance to get them on a two wheel bike. Of course, I did notice that Target had it cheaper than what I paid through Amazon so I was a little disappointed in that, but sometimes that happens when you shop online versus waiting for sales in stores. This scooter even folds for travel and is adjustable as your child grows. My 9 year old has one as well and rides it all the time. Definitely worth the purchase. I ordered this scooter for my 5 year old daughter for Christmas. Amazon.com was one of very few sites that had the pink scooter in stock (and it HAD to be the pink one!). The price was great and the shipping cost was reasonable considering I ordered during the Christmas rush. Most impressive was the speed of shipping - the scooter arrived in 3 days as promised. My daughter loves the scooter and I love that they are pre-assembled. All we had to do was unfold it, snap in the handlebars, and put it by the Christmas tree. We purchased the Razor A and A2 scooters for our daughters, ages 5 and 8, for Christmas. It was pretty much the only thing they really wanted. Got them in pink and purple, respectively- very cute. The kids love them, and since we live in a town setting, the smaller size (compared to bikes) is perfect for where we live. Plus, we can throw them in the back of the car and take them anywhere- something you can't do with bikes. They seem to be well made, and for the Amazon price and free shipping, you really can't go wrong! I recommend them highly.Customer Review: Great!

All 3 of my kids use and love the Razor scooter- they are ages 3, 3 and 4. You can adjust the height of the handlebar and we make them wear helmets while they ride, as they actually get going pretty fast. I never would have thought to purchase this for children so young, but they used the Razor scooters at an older cousin's house and loved it.
My son loves to tear things apart, and he did manage to pull off the foam pad covering of the handle. Otherwise, these things have been used very regularly and have held up well.

My daughter loved this scooter as a birthday gift. She is 7. The only downside I've found, and this is minor, is that the sticker on the scooter deck keeps slipping off or out of place. It is supposed to provide grip for the rider, but as she rides, the sticker always gets pushed by her foot away from its central position. Then sticker glue from the backing gets on the scooter deck and it gets dirty.
So really, not a problem with the scooter itself.
