Sports reviews of Prince Squash Pro Game KitCustomer Review: Great for the beginner - I'm addicted now!! Sport shop rating: 5 Stars
To be addicted to sports (without performance-enhancing drugs) is the biggest high I can imagine. I'm 49 years old and hate going to the gym. But the Prince Pro Squash Game Kit makes me want to go everyday. Luckily, America is enthralled with Racquetball, so the squash court is usually empty.
The squash racquet is durable, handles scrapes against the walls and floor very well and it hasn't shown any signs of wear and tear. It has a plastic covering at the top which protects it from scrapes and there are times when I was sure I injured the racquet - but I didn't. It was solid and withstands the roughest of treatment (although I'm a beginner, so I'm still far from hurting it). My only lament is that the handle is white and it picks up dirt so it starts looking a little worn after much use -
Hey, at 49, I'M AN ATHLETE NOW! In fact, I'll be going today - on a Sunday, no less. There's a reason to go to the gym now - to have fun, even if I play alone (which I prefer as I am a beginner). I'm looking online to see how the game is played and I had one round with a man twice my age (well, not quite, but he had to be about 70) and he had me running around the court like a kid. He also showed me some tricks. My opponent had a hard ball, which I enjoyed playing with more than the softer balls (Pro Squash gives you three), but as a beginner, I didn't mind. Pro Squash also gies you protective eyeglasses, but as I can't see without glasses, I wear my own (unfortunately, most of you will have that problem when you get my age, unless by then, we will have discovered a way to get rid of old-age-eye-wear problems). The cool thing is was that after a while, I really began to hear the "squash sound" that echoes in your ears after a while, which created the sport's name... quite cool.
I love this sport and encourage kids and adults to start playing. You'll get a real workout.
