I purchased this to use for our horse. He needs some confidence. What a treat to watch the change in his attitude from "What is that and will it hurt me" to intense curiosity to "It's mine, all mine" and practically became a cutting horse (sort of) all in a matter of seconds. I was worried purchasing it with two of the previous reviews but it was the biggest one I could find for the right price and the other review helped me to take the risk. Another horse we tried it with gave it a shot with both hind feet and sent it flying. No damage done. We were careful to measure the size so that we did not over inflate it. I would imagine if it was over inflated and had no give, maybe then it would burst. It did exactly what we wanted. The reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because we haven't had it that long. When I opened the box, I wasn't 100% sure this item was new. It was wadded up and taped into a mass so it would fit into the box. I honestly cannot imagine this item being new and sent in such a manor. Also, a foot pump would have been a real asset. Most balls of such size include this tool, so this was a dissapointment. How are you supposed to blow it up with the hole being flush with the ball? (No instructions either.) More work than I bargained for. All in all, the ball is good, no holes, holds air well.Customer Review: Don't waste your money - very poor quality!

My two older sons had a huge Bigens brand green ball for 7 years and it lasted through all kinds of uses - adults and kids jumping on, falling into trees, etc. I bought two of these balls thinking they were the same quality. The first one got a hole in it within 2 weeks from being thrown into a bush - when I tried to patch it, it just ripped in half! So I inflated the other ball and it flew into the same bush - split in half on the very first day. I can't believe I spent all that money for nothing. My oldest son noticed that these balls are much lighter weight than our old ball.
I recommend getting a gym/PE quality ball with a 1-year warranty instead - that's what I'm looking for right now!
