I cycle 4 times a week, for at least 2 hours each time. My leg muscles, particularly the hamstrings, get very tight and often sore. "The Stick" has been very effective at loosening up the tightness and reducing soreness. It's a simple gadjet, easy to use, and easier than using my fingers for massage. I use it every day, often more than one session. I can feel the difference when I cycle, much less stiffness and pain.
Customer Review: The "STICK" really works Sport shop rating: 5 Stars
I purchased the Marathon Stick about three weeks ago, based on a recommendation from a message therapist. I have been having problems with one of my hamstrings for about one year when I run. After using the Stick for one week the problems with my hamstring are gone! Now I used it before and after I run, swim, or bike or whenever my hamstring, quads, or calf muscles are sore. The Stick has worked great for me!
Customer Review: wonderful muscle relief and easily portable Sport shop rating: 5 Stars
i love the blue and yellow handles, i love that it is easy to use and to pack in a suitcase. it provides excellent self-myofascial release and its flexibility is a definite plus..especially when working on rounded areas and over the back. it does a great job of warming up muscles by increasing circulation prior to workouts and wonderful after to promote relaxation and stretching. i love it.
Customer Review: also great for swimmers Sport shop rating: 5 Stars
I am a college swimmer, and my coach has a few of these on deck that are available for use post-practice. The stick is great for working out leg cramps, but I also use it on my shoulders, neck, and back. I find that this particular model of the stick is the best match for massaging body parts other than my legs (esp. shoulders) due to its flexibility. This is a great buy for any athlete.

If you do any sort of endurance training, the stick belongs in your recovery tool arsenal. I've had mine for about a year now, and use it quite often. I use it in conjunction w/ a foam roller and have noticed considerably less DOMS in the following days. I like it because it's easy to keep at work or by the bed and only takes a few minutes to use.
