Did your Polar come with a hard chest strap? Are you having issues with it 00ing out on you? Do you count on the accuracy of your HRM to count the calories you should be eating back during weight loss? END YOUR FRUSTRATION and get this chest strap. Yes, you do SOAK the transmitter. Follow the directions you will be happy. Why? This molds to the shape of your body so it will take a reading whether your in plank, pushup or downward dog .. trust me. This was the single most frustrating thing for me. Of course as soon as I was done losing the weight I found this.Customer Review: Wearlink transmitter is a winner

The Polar Wearlink transmitter is better fitting than previous transmitters. The strap is easier to adjust, and it stays where you put it. It is also more confortable and because it stays in place, it is more accurate.
I turned on my treadmill simultaneously while using my elliptical trainer, and the coded technology worked perfectly. It did not interfere with the machine next to me. I was quite pleased. This product would work perfectly in a gym situation, because it seems to only work with the equipment the strap wearer is using.

This is the 3rd transmitter I am buying. I lost the other 2 - left them in hotel rooms while traveling.
This transmitter is comfortable. Even though it's "coded", I still have an occassional problem with picking up signals from someone on a piece of equipment next to me.
Although this transmitter may look like it will break, I can attest that it's extremely durable. You don't need to worry about breaking this thing, but don't forget to pack it when you check out !

I had problems with my Polar F-11 heart rate monitor not reading my heart rate. I replaced the batteries in both the monitor watch and the chest strap and I still had problems with it reading my heart rate. I bought a new chest strap hoping that it was the transmitter on the chest strap that was malfunctioning. I haven't had a problem with my heart rate monitor reading my heart rate since I replaced the chest strap and snap-on transmitter. Very happy that it works again !Customer Review: Mr. Spinner

This product was a replacement for the original one that came with my heart monitor. The clasp to put it on is much easier to use. However, it is cheaper version of the original. I hope I get more than the two years out of it that I got with the original one. It tore at the edges and the monitor would not register a reading. I use it primarily for spinning. Also, the strap does not retain sweat like the old one. Thus, it does not smell as bad. So, far it is a good upgrade.
