Quality control is the best with this watch.
Have changed the battery twice, this thing has gone MTB on hot Florida summer, surfin, cycling in 30 degree weather and it keeps on ticking.
Back in the day was purchased for $30.00 on sale.
It is very simple, reads your heart rate and thats it, and only saves your last workout. Adjustable settings for maximum and minimum heart rate readings, it flashes when either of them is reached.
Does not have different zone readings, does not have multiple memory slots, does not have a chronograph.
The sensor is compatible with Life Fitness threadmills, elliptical machines.
When one enables the heart rate reading it reads the time working out, but it is not a true chronograph of start/stop/lap times etc.
My ONLY ONLY grudge is it has no light, its a pain to keep track after dark.
Besides that its an amazing watch that never ever has failed me, consistent heart rate readings.
Yes, I do recommend this Polar Heart Rate monitor.
Description of Polar B3 Heart Rate Monitor Watch
An ideal workout companion, Polar's B3 wireless heart rate monitor will guide you through your aerobic training program with accuracy while challenging you to the next level. Featuring a Zone Pointer, this heart rate monitor watch provides a visual display which allows you to track your heart rate when you are within your target zone. The B3 also allows you to manually set target zones and it will beep to let you when you are not in your zone. Fitness bullets display every 10 minutes you exercise within your target zone while an exercise timer tracks your total exercise time (which will be stored in a file on the monitor). This feature allows you to view your previous workout information to help establish goals for your next workout and entire program.
