Watching intently as my 3 year old daughter sat on Santa's lap for the first time, I was surprised to hear her tell him that she wanted him to bring her a pogo stick for Christmas. It was the first I'd heard of it. So, I hopped on Amazon at the first chance & found this wonderful item. Not only is it a short pogo stick for the younger set, but it has this soft, plush pony head on top which helps take the edge off my anxiety about her slipping and cracking her jaw against the handle.

Though she is very coordinated, I was happy to see that they also attached a round plate at the bottom for stability. No, you cannot expect a 3 yr old to climb on the first time and start hopping up a storm. You've got to give them a bit of a hand until they are ready to bounce solo.

My daughter was also asking for a Butterscotch the Pony sit-on toy, which I could not see the point in owning. With the Pogo Pony's plush horsey head and 'whinny' sound when she presses the ear, she has forgotten all about the other horse.

This item is an all-around GREAT toy. I can see her using this until she's too tall for it. And the price just cannot be beat!
