Sports reviews of Playseat Seat Slider KitCustomer Review: Must have if you are sharing with friends and family Sport shop rating: 5 Stars
As others said, it comes with no instructions. Thanks to those provided instructions, and greater thanks to the person uploading the screw/nut diagram.
It works exactly like what you have in a non-powered manual slider in cars. If you are using for yourself, then you don't need this. But if have others trying it out, then you need it. Combine it with the standard adjustments on my Playseats Evolution, I can let me 6 year old boy who's 42 inch tall to reach the pedal!
Customer Review: Does what it is supposed to do! Sport shop rating: 5 Stars
If you have multiple players (kids and adults) playing on your playseat, this is a must have so that you don't have to change the settings for the pedals every time. We can set the seat for 7 years old kids up to 6"1 adults, so that's a pretty good range.
Mounting is a little bit annoying but straightforward (no instructions).

A must for the playseat if you have different players using it, it avoids disturbing the other setups and works just like a card seat adjustement.

It is exactly like the real ones for racing seats in real cars, works great!
Customer Review: Instructions Here Sport shop rating: 4 Stars
No instructions come in this kit other than a sticker on each side that states: "Srew (sic) this side to seat with this end facing front" Like others have stated it is not all that apparent which way the Allen Screws face. With that said, it is only the total lack of instructions that keep this from being a 5 star product. It works as well as any car seat slider.
Here are some handy tips for install:
1) remove the seat via the 4 Allen screws (careful it will want to tip back when the last screw is removed)& place it up-side-down over the edge of your couch. (read step 10 now... I didn't, but you may want to...)
2) Push an allen screw in the end so that the threads hang over the elongated hole nearest the sticker end (front). The screw will not fall into place nicely, but if you just poke at it from the other elongated hole above it, it easily falls into place.
3) Put your Allen wrench in the screw to hold it in place as you line it up over the front seat hole. The metal tabs that hold the release bar should stick in toward the center of the seat, not out toward the sides, and if you can still read the sticker you have it up-side-down. The sticker should be facing the seat bottom.)
4) Screw it in only 1/2 way & then repeat the procedure for the other side. Tighten all screws after all are in place.
5) The release bar is held in place by it's own spring tension so all you have to do is line up a hole near the bar end to the single pin shaped metal tab and then compress it enough to fit the other hole over the tab on the other side, but be careful for 2 reasons... First, make sure you attach the release bar such that the bend tips down away from the seat bottom and not up towards it. (This gives you as much space as possible between the seat bottom and the release bar.) !!!AND SECOND...!!! It is very "springy", so try not to let it pinch your fingers!!! The bar should now be resting firmly between the double tabs and the single tab through the hole.
6) (Greasy Finger Warning) Before trying to attach the seat to the base see if you can use the release and move the slider rail forward a few inches, thus exposing the two front elongated holes. This may take 2 persons if it is a tight fit, but mine moved rather easily. Try to get both rails extended the same distance.
7) With the holes exposed you should be able to easily place the seat onto the base and drop an allen screw in each side. Place a nut on the bottom and tighten.
8) Now carefully slide the seat forward enough to expose the back 2 elongated holes and repeat the process.
9) I suggest moving the seat back to the center position (no rail sticking out either forward or back) and fit it to your body by moving the playseat's original adjustment (the main tube tightener) into your comfortable "playing" position. If many persons will be using it fit it to a middle sized person.
10) Why no locking washers? I don't know, but you could add them yourself or tighten the screws periodically. Happy Racing!
