This item was purchased to be used as a tack box for our (large) dog for travel as well as a way to keep all of his "stuff" in one place.
We are able to store our dog's grooming brushes and combs, shampoo, items needed to make de-skunker treatments (never leave home without it!), clean-up bags, and still have room for a week supply of kibble. His travel bowls easily slide inside the box and his favorite toy and travel leash lash to the top with no problem. There is a small bin on the top of the box which is just the right size to store a couple of treats as well as a medium chewy bone for long road trips.
Your milage may vary depending on the amount of equipment you use for your best buddy and how you pack items, but for us it is the perfect grab-and-go box.
