I purchased this case specifically for my 1891/30 7.62x54R Mosin Nagant Rifle. I was looking for an affordable case that had the potential to be locked and wouldn't fall apart, basically. So far I'm pretty satisfied with my purchase. There's 3 holes in the edge of the case where you could place pad/combination locks if you wanted, foam rubber lining to keep the gun from rattling around, and an artistic nature scene of deer in the wilderness etched into the face of the case. Since I'm not a hunter (yet) I could've done without the nature scene art, but I don't mind it either. The foam rubber could be thicker, as I'm sure after a few years of taking the rifle out and putting it back in, the stuff that came with the case will probably wear down pretty quick and start breaking apart. (that's the only reason I didn't give 5 stars pretty much,.. foam rubber quality and they probably could've dropped the price a tad, given it's just a molded plastic case)
Ultimately, this was what I wanted, it fits my gun just dandy, and it's definitely better protection for it than the sock it was in previously. All in all a good purchase for my purposes.

The ad did not give dimensions so I took a chance to fit my phantom 177. with a 4x32 scope attached into the case. It doesnt fit with the scope attached but luckily the plastic was cheap enough so that it would bend around the scope in the handle portion of the case. I would recommend this case to someone with a rifle WITHOUT A SCOPE ATTACHED or a shot gun. It is plenty long enough and will fit most any long barrel firearm and keep it clean and safe with foam cushion on the inside. It has three holes for pad locks at the front middle and bottom. it has four clasps for sturdy closing. its light weight and sturdy for the money.Customer Review: An okay case

The case looks great and is light weight. The only concern of mine is that by saving weight I think they compromised durability. The case is a little flimsy for my taste -- definitely not as nice as Plano's pistol cases. There was tons of room in this case--almost to much. I use it for a handful of rifles and a Win shotgun when not in soft cases and everything fits. For example, my '96 Win M-94 .30/30 has to much room for my taste. I had much trouble finding a hard case fitted for rifles with 20" barrels. Again, not a bad case for the price though.Customer Review: Good for the price

If you do not want nothing fancy, just something to hold the gun and cheap, this case is for you. I use these cases for things like BB Guns and Airsoft Guns. Why? Cause I can lock them and it keeps them out of the way from the possibility of kids getting into them, at least without some case sawing. Would I use a "real" rifle in them. Doubtful. But it serves it purpose. If you just want to carry the gun, it would work for that too.
