Although this case is really made for holding 2 pistols plus ammo, I bought it to house my dog trimmer along with blades, attachments, scissors, combs, and trimmer oil. This is just the right size, and it's very sturdy and lightweight. The foam lining inside cradles the contents so I know nothing will be moving around while transporting.
These cases, regardless of what size you need, are very durable and you just can't beat the price. I have seen these at sporting goods stores in the rifle section, but I think they were priced between $3-$5 more. If you order through Amazon.com and add other items to exceed a $25 purchase, you can qualify for free shipping.
Overall, a very good price for a very nice case...and it has many uses. You don't have to use it just for pistols.
