I recently purchased this case to fit a 2008 BowTech Constitution, which has a 41 1/2" axle to axle length, one of the larger models from the major mfr.'s currently available. It fits this bow perfectly, and as the ad material stated, it is reinforced with this very thick black thermoplastic on the corners and all the key areas, like where your sight aperture/scope would normally be in the upper middle of the case. The remainder of the "fabric" of the outside of the case is a 2000+ denier Cordura in RealTree Hardwoods Green HD; this material is as tough as nails and should provide an excellent moisture barrier as well as puncture resistance from thorns or something that is accidentally dropped on the case. Excellent two piece handle, and a zipper that is beyond rugged and heavy duty. The interior lining is an inch padded black tricot on each side, which is soft and easy on the finish and accessories. The arrow compartment holds six shafts and is also ruggedly built, but I would rather have had this compartment another three inches thicker, without the rubber arrow holders, to accommodate a loaded quiver. like some of the better soft cases will.
Overall, I can't see a need for a better case, provided you are not flying; it is certainly not rugged enough for that. I have owned the Primos Truth case, an SKB, and a Flambeau Deluxe, and would have to say this Plano case is a better built and better fitting product for more models of bows, especially if you tend to shoot longer models over 40". Amazon had free super saver shipping on this case when I ordered it, and the overall price was below anyone out there, and believe me I checked several. Can't see why anyone considering a quality soft case around the $50 mark, would not want to step up just a bit and get one of these; Plano has hit a grand slam home run with this product for archers. Someone in IL did their homework, and it shows!
