Customer Review: Unbelievably Bright, And Surprisingly Small

If your goal is maximum visibility at night, then this is the rear bike light for you. As soon as I started using this light, cars began giving me extremely wide berths when passing me. One was using the other lane entirely. The main LED is quite honestly PAINFULLY BRIGHT to look directly into, and blinks fast enough to give someone an epileptic seizure. Plainly said, it is simply impossible to notice this rear light at night. I highly reccomend it. It is surprisingly small though, only a little larger than the size of your thumb, but that is to the better because it will fit anywhere on your bike.Customer Review: You want to be noticed? Other reviewers have raved about this tail light and I have to agree. It is very bright and easily seen by cars approaching you from behind. Where it shine best (no pun intended) is during the dawn or dusk hours. I find riding bicycle during that time the scariest because you think you can be seen but honestly there has been times where I have been scared out of my wits because cars didn't see you even though there was still some sun light left. Having this very bright blinking tail light will definitely get driver's attention and minimize chance of getting into accident.Customer Review: the best bike tail light I've found, buy one and be seen!

This thing is incredibly bright, uses standard batteries, is a nice small size, and is easy to remove. I love the fact that it's not red until lit which looks better on my classic beach cruiser. It is also available with a red lens if you prefer that look. It is blazingly bright for a small light that operates on standard batteries. The only possible down side is because it can be easily removed, it can also easily be stolen. Just something to be aware of if you leave your bike locked in urban areas.

This thing is nothing less than amazing. You WILL get noticed, especially when the sun goes down. Truckers, cars, bikers, and pedestrians will all look over to see what the heck is blinking insanely. Any brighter and it might just be a road hazard to drivers.
I've been biking for a long time now and have tried many different types of blinking taillights from various manufacturers. They were all either too cheap and brittle, or just didn't live up to their claims. Not this little thing from Planet Bike.

There are plenty of video's on youtube, so I'll just add my .02 cents. This is easily one of the best blinkies for the money that you can get.
The alernating flash pattern is eye catching and the more powerfull top led really throws light.
My other light is a Dinotte tail light. Although the Dinotte out shines the Superflash, it doesn't hold the value of the Superflash.
I believe that the Superflash is very effective, and again one of the best values out there!
