I got the Planet Bike Blinky Super Flash - (Clear / Black) thinking that it was a "white" light flasher so I could put it on the side or front of my bike. Turns out it's just a different New color scheme for the Planet Bike Blinky Super Flash Tail Light Planet Bike Blinky Super Flash Tail Light. It has a red flash pattern, in Flashing red and steady red modes. Runs on 2 AAA batteries (included). Pretty good light.
Use in conjunction with Blackburn Mars 3.0 Flasher Rear Bicycle Light and you should be set. Use a High Visibility ANSI Class 2 Safety Vest to be seen in the dark as well. GLoWEAR Class 2 Economy Vest, Lime, L/XL #21025 / 8210HL.

Got this tail light today, it was defected. 1 of the two weaker LEDs was not working, not a big deal. Let Niagara Cycle know and they got back to me right away told me they are going to send a new one, with paid shipping to ship the old one back. Which is really cool, not having me send the old one back first and waiting all that time.
But even with that one LED out the light is still super bright! It hurts to look at. Makes me feel safe knowing that I blind the cars in back of me, but at least they know I'm there and not to get to close.
The flash pattern is very unique and visible between all the lights you would see on a street in the city. It's almost like a little cop light on your bike. All and all this is a great light and is a must for night time riding. If you're like me and have a solid black bike, you need all the lights you can get!

The Planet Bike Superflash is by far the best bicycle tail light on the market that sells for less than $50. Better yet, they can be found on sale for less than $20.
I commute by bike daily. After getting my Superflash, I was stopped at an intersection and a woman who passes me in her car every day rolled down her window to tell me that the thought my new tail light was great. It really got her attention better than my old light.
The Superflash can be run in blinking or steady mode. There is quite a debate over which mode works best regarding visibility by motorists. They are cheap enough to buy two of them and run one steady and one flashing to cover both opinions.
It has a clip and comes with two different sized mounts for mounting to your seatpost or seat stays for a variety of mounting options.

I am a bike commuter. The Planet Bike Superflash is simply the very best bicycle blinky tail light you can purchase. Amazingly, it also is dirt cheap. Look no further. Buy several and give them to your friends. I have both clear and red ones, and they both perform the exact same. The battery lasts forever, and the lights themselves are indestructible.
The only thing better than one of these Superflash tail lights is TWO Superflash tail lights.
I have one on my helmet and one on my rear rack. I have had cars stop me in the pre-dawn morning to tell me that they could see me two miles away. They had no idea what the bright red light was, but they saw me. Seriously, WHAT DOES IT TAKE FOR A NON-BICYCLIST IN A CAR TO STOP AND COMPLIMENT YOU ON YOUR AMAZING BLINKY LIGHT?

Just as bright as everyone says. Even the solid-on setting is pretty bright. I would prefer the blinking pattern to go a little faster, but when the big LED goes off, people know it.
It's a very nice looking product. Clips on and off very easily and is quite small, so it will fit easily into any pocket. No problems yet with the unit falling off, nor with the case coming apart unexpectedly, as mentioned in other reviews. Seems to have a very solid "tight" case.
The only downside I could possibly note, is that the vertical orientation could make the fit difficult if you mount it on a suspension seat post and keep the stock reflector mounted there too. It worked for me, but if yours is adjusted in a low position, you might need to mount either the light or the old reflector in a new spot.
