Customer Review: Push the level up
I like that it has a gauge so I can tell how much pressure I have in my tire and it gives you a range of what your tire should be at depending on the type of bike you have. But I didn't understand how to use the pump at first. I kept on putting the pump onto the tire valve, sealing the air by pushing down on the level then when I started to add in air, the pump would fly off the valve. It wasn't until later that I realized that to seal the air, you must push the level up. There were no instructions so I didn't know and this pump works opposite of my old one.

I saved easily $20 on this pump versus the ones in bike stores. The pump works great on my 80psi tires, but any higher and I fear the stem will begin to flex. The installed pressure gauage is an added bonus and its manual dial is great for remembering your tires' max pressure. 4/5 stars due to the difficulty I experience when attempting to lock the nozzle onto my Presta valves--this usually takes me 2 or 3 attempts for a leak-proof seal.

Appears to be solidly built. So far I have used on bikes, b-ball and soccer balls. Lot of output in single stroke. On bikes sometimes it is difficult to put on, the lever to latch-on is kind of hard, may be it will loosen up as it ages. One draw-back, my 10 year old who could easily use the older (now broken) foot-pump is unable to use this one as it needs jerking pressure to fill. Overall I am happy with this purchase.

The schrader valve works well. I use it on my car and my mountain bike. I didn't think the presta valve worked well but it turned out that I was pressing it in deep enough. Once I learned to push it in deep (and it helps to buy a tube with a long stem) it works great. It works like a pump should, nothing too fancy. It is accurate and does the job well. It does bend and flex a bit so I wouldn't go too nuts with it.

This is a great bicycle pump. Made of light but high impact plastic, it works quite well and can inflate tires without herculean effort. Mine came with a fair amount of oil on the outside of it, which ended up on my cloths and hands. This is my sole complaint. The functionality of the pump is exactly what I expected. For the price, this is a high quality air pump.
