Dirt and grit on the chain eventually wear down the chain rivets, inner plates, and rear cogs. I'm pleased with how well the Chain Gang works. The citrus degreaser that came with the system also works really well. I've found that to really get the chain clean you may need to run it through the Chain Gang a couple of times with fresh cleaner. It's so easy to use, running the chain through a couple of times doesn't take long. It is easy to clean the Chain Gang when you're done cleaning the chain. If you want an easy and effective way to clean your bike chain, this tool will do the job. The instructions are basic but the drawings included with them make using the cleaner pretty simple. It works great and will get your chain looking like new and ready for a fresh coat of your favorite lube. The cleaning fluid is a bit pricey so I will explore other options in that regard.Customer Review: Awesome

I have a road bike and have never cleaned the chain. I have always brought to the shop, but i'm wanting to save money and I want to learn how to work and fix my own bike! so i bought this Chain Gang and used it right out of the box and it performed AMAZING!!! I would highly recommend this tool to ANYONE...

I tend to be skeptical of cleaning tools like this, but it looked so much easier than taking the chain off to soak and scrub that I thought I'd give it a try. I'm very impressed with the results. My chain was covered with grit, but in just a minute with this cleaning tool my chain looks as clean as new. I should have bought this years ago.Customer Review: Good item

Only complaint is, am I using this thing wrong? There's too holes at the top and that part is splashing out tiny tiny drops of dirty liquid as you use it? Maybe i'm doing something wrong, either way, i give this item 5 stars still.
