OK, I had to put this pole up myself and it was my first try using cement. All in all it was a successful venture and a learning experience. I like the idea of putting a sleeve in the ground so that you can take the pole out when not in play. The pole is sturdy, the right size and my son has loved having his own tetherball court in the backyard. I bought the extra ball. The one that comes with this is OK but a little harder than I would like to use for long periods of time. Good back-up though for when my son wants to move to a little harder ball.
