Customer Review: Basket broke of rim due to poor weld after 3 shots

We ordered this for a christmas gift for our 8 year old son. After just 3 shots the basket disconnected from the rim due to a poor weld -- the joint between the basket and the plate that connects the basket to the backboard was completely rusted. This basketball hoop is great!! I like how this one slides out as opposed to unfolding. My kids can be a little rough on toys and everything and so far this has held up well. It comes with 3 basketballs which is perfect since I have three kids. You can also use any other balls you might already have. I also like that I can fold it up and it just disappears into a cabinet on a wall. I even enjoy playing. It also can be plugged in or use batteries. It keeps score for 2 people for 1 minute each. So you can play against a friend to see who scores more baskets. Great product highly recommend.Customer Review: Great product! Lots of fun.

It is great for kids (I would not recommend it for adults).
My 6 year old likes it a lot (but not my 4 year old). I like playing
it too but would not buy it if I did not have kids. It is too
easy for adults. Good product. No problems with it.

bought this piece of junk last year; it didn't even last 1 day of use at a kids party! The rim/hoop wouldn't stay up, so 1 of the kids had to stand on a chair to hold it up for the other kids to have some small measure of fun!!money wasted. i'm an international purchaser so it wouldn't even be worth the while (in terms of shipping)to return this item. My family couldn't wait until my father put this up... We played all day on Christmas my cousins and uncles and even aunts and mother played.. We had a competion and the women won at first... This is the best game I ever got.... You can play teams or you can play all by yourself.... And you can fold it up and my mom loves that because there is no sign of it... The balls have there own place for storage...I got to go so I can play.... Thank you for coming up with this idea.... I can have basketball anytime of the day and year......
