Customer Review: Not a Piece of Crap
Sport shop rating: 4 Stars

The wife and I host weekly grass Volleyball games. Periodically, for no explicable reason, our non-volleyball playing friends show up. Over the years we've purchased several badminton sets in an effort to keep these friends happy. These cheaper sets are essentially disposable. They tend to fall apart or become hopelessly tangled after a couple uses. We finally decided to spend a little more money and try out the Park & Sun Pro Set. ( We've had posititive experiences with Park & Suns higher end volleyball systems ) The system more than delivered. It was easy to put up, easy to take down and fit back into the carrying bag with out any problem. The system was more than able to handle the abuse rendered when a handful of children used it for a volleyball game, far more wear and tear you would expect in a normal badminton game. I'm not a good judge of what constitutes a good racquet, but they seemed sturdy. I would have given the system 5 stars except for the cheap plastic steaks. These can replaced with a set of metal camping stakes for a few bucks.

Customer Review: Almost great....
Sport shop rating: 4 Stars

I thought this was a lot to pay for a badminton set, but after reading reviews of cheaper options, I figured I'd go for it; I wanted it to last longer than one season! For the most part it's fine, the poles are thick and won't break on you. They're shorter than I thought, but what do I know about professional badminton? They shipped an additional rope to mark your out-of-bounds, which I found unnecessary. My only REAL quibble is with the racquets... the handle of one unwound right after opening, so now that one is covered in duct tape.

Otherwise, fine. Pretty sturdy and I know it will take us into 2011 or 12!

Customer Review: Backyard Fun for Everyone
Sport shop rating: 4 Stars

We've bought three badminton sets before from Walmart over the last five years at about $35 each. After setting this one up, I don't think I'll be buying another set for at least another five years or more. The metal poles are so much more sturdy than the plastic ones in our other sets. The rackets seem of better quality than our other sets. The birdies actually have cork bottoms! One split at the bottom, but a little super glue fixed it for now. The bag the set will get stored in over the winter is rugged and well made. Now, if we can get rid of the bugs, we'll be playing badminton more than video games!

Customer Review: Nice set to play at home with
Sport shop rating: 4 Stars

This set has really been a lot of fun. When we pulled it out to set it up it was tangled so had to work alittle to untangle but not a big deal. The rackets are ok. The tape came off two of the handles after a couple of games. Got new tape. We really enjoy the set. This set is worth the money. This is a very nice set. I like the aluminum poles. There easy to put together and are sturdy. Most other sets I looked at were plastic and flimsy. The net is also heavier than most we looked at and easy to put up. We liked that it came with the boundery line. That was the hardest part to set up.
