I planned a summer party this year and thought it might be fun to try playing Bocce. I had never played before but I didn't want to get a cheap set or a "starter" set, I wanted the real thing. I bought this set and it looks great. Good weight and the case is sturdy. I brought it out during the party and it was used the entire rest of the day in the yard. Since then my friends and I have played several more times and the set is holding up just fine. There are a few tiny scratches on some of them but that's just normal wear and tear. Accidentally hitting the bricks lining the trees in my yard probably doesn't help, but they took the hit just fine! This is a really nice set for a good price, I would very much recommend them.Customer Review: Highly Recommend

My family loves this set. The Bocce balls initially felt a bit heavy, but we are Bocce novices and quickly adjusted. Composition wise they are similar to pool balls. Sometimes the balls land on other balls which resulted in some minor chips. However, in general the balls seem very tough and resilient and able to withstand the collisions without any evidence of damage, e.g. cracks or scuff marks. The carrying case is adequate to carry and protect the balls. However, The set is heavy to pick up. I was looking for a set, and wanted to balance not ending up with cheap, light balls against paying a bundle. I bought this set largely based on the prior review that says the balls have heft. That review didn't disappoint as the balls not only have heft, but rank on par with the best set I had previously played. The carry case is very nice too and even includes a measuring string with a base that fits around the pea for accurate measuring when necessary.Customer Review: Great Fun

This is great family fun. My six year old Granddaughter loves to play and brings out the bocce set every time she is here. We sit in the back yard, enjoy the sun and family and have a great game.
This bocce set is sturdy and the bocce balls have heft to them. They nick easily but that's a minor flaw that doesn't effect the game in any way. It's a great set.

I purchased this bocce set for our summer trip last year. We use it in the back yard and take it along on picnics. Balls are sturdy and the carrying case is good enough to hold them. Instructions are included but we play by our own rules. It's mostly a social-drink beer and toss the ball game for us. It's very compact and easy to store, but it is heavy. I'm pleased with the purchase.
