Sports reviews of Paradigm 100 Inversion Table SystemCustomer Review: what I expected- solid Sport shop rating: 4 Stars
First- Shipping was 3 days faster than the tracker said it would take! A big bonus! Product overall is well built though one weld on the foot rest wasd "burned through" leaving a 1/8" hole in the weld. It is not a critical weight bearing part so i am not going to go through the return or having to take it apart process. As for assembly- usual slightly confusing directions. Not many nuts and bolts though! Had it together in 1/2 hour. Don't be an idiot like me and try it after dinner! Felt sick for an hour! Today was much better. I have learned to control my inversions and I do have to say, my back does feel better. As for storage- i was going to buy the nautilus set up for $199 at Sears but it was not storable- it basically was a monster! However, if you have the space the Nautilus machine is WAY better built! I can store the Paradigm by not using the pivot arm plates and losing the canvas frame things. Detach the tether strap and remove the bed for storage. Fits nicely in my bedroom corner. So far so good- not the amazing results others have talked about but i guess it depends on how bad your back is! For $125 it seems to be a decent deal.
Customer Review: Great Value, Comfort Lacking Sport shop rating: 4 Stars
Just got this as a substitute for going to the chiropractor. It shipped very quickly, had it in 2-3 days from the time I ordered it. It was pretty intuitive to put together, and took maybe 20 minutes. The pain relief began right away, but I am definitely working up to longer intervals of being inverted. Had to start around a minute before it felt like my head was going to explode, within a few days I am up to around 3.5 minutes at a time.
One major detriment is the comfort of the ankle braces. They would make my feet go numb, and the pain from those made the overall pain relief almost not worth it. I quickly replaced them with some pads from my home gym, and the difference is amazing. I would say the lack of comfort is the cause of the cheap price. If you have extra cash, spend more for comfort. If not, be prepared to find a way to get comfortable. Overall great value though!
Customer Review: Good basic model Sport shop rating: 4 Stars
This is just what I was looking for: an inexpensive entry level inversion table to help me accomplish some physical therapy. Great price, free Amazon shipping, and reasonably easy to assemble. The tools included for assembly are workable, but I used my own sockets and wrenches to make the assembly job much easier and faster. The only think I don't like about this unit are the cuffs that hold the ankles. This could easily be improved in my opinion without adding much if any cost to the unit. They are very uncomfortable to me; nevertheless I can easily tolerate it just fine for 5 minutes at a time. In general a solid unit worth considering by those looking for an entry level system.
Customer Review: Good machine for price Sport shop rating: 4 Stars
This was a nice buy for the price. Reasonably easy to put together and easy to use. Comfortable for the most part, ankle cushions could be better. Definitely works well for my back. I have lower back pain and have been to physical therapy a number of times. This has helped to ease a lot of pain and I evidenced improvement after only a week of use, mainly once a day for 5-15 minutes. I am also 6ft 5in, so I was skeptical about the lower priced machines, but this works well for my height. Headrest at top could be cushioned a bit more. Overall nice piece of machinery, glad I purchased it!
Customer Review: Paradigm 100 is a winner! Sport shop rating: 4 Stars
This product arrived quickly and was a cinch to set up. I found the ankle harness to be more comfortable than expected given the other reviews so that was a plus. My only qualm is that to adjust the degree of inversion you must dismount and reset the harness. Other than that it's a great product and has achieved what I had hoped for...back relief at last! I am no longer counting the days to my next chiropractic appointment to relieve my pain. Now I just hang for a few minutes and I'm good for a few days!! Awesome!!!
