This product is great - and very well made - for the price. The kids are constantly getting things behind furniture and in hard-to-reach places. I can just get this tool and get any little toy from behind a cabinet or under a dresser. I bought this tool when an acute back issue prevented me from bending, kneeling, stooping. It has proved invaluable. Bought this for after hip replacement. It works well but don't expect to pick anything of any weight up which I found to be true of most reachers. This was one of the best of the ones I bought.
