The Bulldog DT offers a 13mm hardened steel shackle that provides maximum cut resistance, along with an X2 double-bolt locking mechanism that locks to two sides of the bar, providing added strength and high pull resistance. The pick-, pull-, and drill-resistant M-Cylinder delivers even more protection, with a BumpBlok mechanism that renders bump keys useless. Similar to the tumbler systems found on high-end European autos, the M-Cylinder has more than 100,000 possible key combinations. These tumblers won't turn unless the key is properly inserted, protecting both the key and tumbler from damage due to misuse. The lock mechanism is also completely encased in ultra-hardened steel to resist drilling, picking, or pulling, while an integrated dust cover protects the internals from moisture and debris.
As a bonus, the Bulldog DT includes a heavy-duty, extra-flexible 10mm steel cable, letting you double your protection or lock up another bike on the same rack. Other features include an all-tube, quick-release, multi-position mounting bracket, protective coatings on the cross bar and shackle, and a tough vinyl cable cover. The Bulldog DT comes with five laser-cut keys, one of which has an LED micro-light to help you open the lock after dark. The U-lock is big. For me this is an upside as I can really lock the back wheel + the frame to pretty much anything.
It's a bit on the heavy side but so far I have managed to carry it in my backpack when I commute.
I tried to using the quick release bracket, but I have a water bottle holder and it barely fits.
Overall, it is a good lock. I live in a safe city and there's no way my bike gets stolen with this one.
This lock gave me peace of mind.

It's a fantastic small U Lock. It always stays attached to my bike when I'm riding and apparently has a lock system which is very hard to pick. The only reason I gave it a 4 is because of it's length it doesn't lock to as much as a larger U lock would. I wish it was a tid-bit larger. (Note: I ordered the regular Bull Dog U lock and it was way too big and heavy for my bike. I wish there was an in between but the small lock does the job)Customer Review: good at locking bad at mounting

This lock has worked very well so far with no issues jamming or theft. However, the mounting bracket is getting more and more annoying. When the lock is mounted on the frame, it is basically free to rotate. I tried to wedge the lock up against my bike frame, but during a long ride, it eventually rotates and gets in the way. It is otherwise a good lock to have especially if you carry it in a bag.Customer Review: Doing good so far

The lock haven't seized on me like it has for other owners. I keep the lock cylinder lubed with wd-40 in hopes of it giving me years of trouble free security. one thing that sucks is that i cannot find a good mounting spot for this lock. Its long, heavy and bulky so i have to carry it in my backpack but that's a given, i can't expect something small and light to secure my bike in the city.Customer Review: Fantastic

This is a fantastic lock, and has come in handy for me! I mounted it right onto my bicycle and could not be easier. I never have to worry about anything when I have my bike locked up with this. The only reason I am not giving it 5 stars is because of the magnitude of keys on the keychain for the lock. What are all of these even for?! Only one works in the lock anyway!
